Exam

The final exam will only include material that the class agrees it has learned. In the final weeks of the course, students will complete a survey indicating their comfort level with subjects the instructor believes have been adequately addressed. The results of this survey will be used to develop a practice exam question list. All questions on the final exam will come from this list.

Exam format

The exam will consist of short answer questions  (answer 5/10) and a problem-solving essay question (answer 1/3 or 2/5 - to be determined by the class). 

Short answer questions

Short answer questions worth five points are intended to test knowledge of individual subject areas addressed in each module. 

Problem-solving essay questions

The problem-solving essay question will present a policy issue requiring analysis that integrates information and ideas from several modules.  

Survey

Link to student survey on examinable material. Students will not be examined on material not covered in class.
